MSD recognize environmental management as an integral part of

the company’s business, and that the construction industry has a

major influence on the environment. Good environmental practice is

fundamental to the company’s success, and we are keen to

encourage an environmental culture for the benefit of all

stakeholders.

To further this aim, MSD has established an environmental

management system consistent with the requirements of BS EN

ISO14001:2004 and Railway Environmental requirements which

includes formalised procedures and practices, inspections and

audits, management review and independent audits by recognised

bodies.

The Director recognises the value of BS EN ISO 14001 in facilitating

the high environmental standards  required within the company. It

is MSD policy to achieve and maintain registration to ISO14001.

The company has never had incidence with the Environment

Agency and issues, monitors & reviews environmental

responsibilities statements with all it employees & sub-contractors.
